For Jazz lovers, and people who appreciate good music, in general, Umbria Jazz Winter is a memorable event to experience alone, with a significant other, or with a group of friends.

There is really something for everyone: jazz clinics, concerts, big names of the past, present and, of course, the future with great national and international musicians; unforgettable jam sessions in the localities of the historic city center, improvised by artists, ready to entertain a vast public all night long.

While Perugia has been the historical site of the festival for over forty years, in 2017/2018, Orvieto celebrated its Silver Anniversary as home to this amazing event.

Every year, Umbria Jazz Winter attracts an ever-increasing number of people, yet at the same time, always succeeds in maintaining its intimate, refined, warm charm, despite that it is held during the heart of winter.

It is the Jazz Festival that even non-Jazz lovers, love. It is a regular, annual event, held during the year-end period and is an excellent opportunity to live unforgettable moments of superior quality art, music, wine, and food in Orvieto.

The African American gospel sound resonates throughout the historical city sites that serve as the perfect setting: the Mancinelli Theatre, the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo, Palazzo dei Sette, the Emilio Greco Museum and Corso Cavour.

The Gospel Choirs start the New Year off right during the Mass for Peace in the incredible Cathedral of the Orvieto Cliff. For more information, visit
