Altarocca Villas Val d'Isère

The ski area of Val d’Isère and the Tignes ski station forms the area denominated espace killy, which is located in the Savoie department and includes over 300 km of slopes.

Famous for off-slope skiing and for the Aprè ski with its numerous nightclubs, Val d’Isère is one of the most renowned ski resorts in the French Alps. It hosts many sporting and cultural events in both the winter and summer: the men’s and women’s Skiing World Cup on the steep Face de Bellevarde, and no less renowned is the bicycle climb of the Col del l’Isèran, the highest paved pass of Europe, which represents one of the most arduous stages of the Tour de France. If in winter it is a paradise for off-slope skiing and nightlife, in the summer it becomes heaven on earth for bikers and cyclists of all nationalities. It connects to Italy via the Piccolo San Bernardo Pass and to Southern France via the Col de La Madaleine and the Col De l’Iseran; popular destinations for two-wheeled climbers. There are also numerous trekking routes by which you can also reach Italy and downhill mountain biking is increasingly popular.
